Admission Requirements for foreign citizens

The Faculty of Geology admits foreign citizens to all basic educational programmes:

Specialist programme (5 years)  – «Geology and Geochemistry Caustobioliths», «Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology», «Applied Geochemistry, Petralogy and Mineralogy», «Ecogeology».

Bachelor programme (4 years) – «Geology» and «Ecology».

Master programme (2 years) – «Geotectonic Geology», «Lithology», «Sea and Ocean Floor Geology», «Geology and Geochemistry of Mineral Resources», «Petrifactology», «Geophysics», «Orebody Geophysics», «Geophysical Methods of Earth Crust Research», «Environmental Geophysics», «Crystallography and Stereochemistry», «Gemmology», «Oryctognosy», «Petralogy», «Geochemistry», «Environmental Geochemistry», «Geoengineering», «Soil science and artificial lithogenesis», «Ecogeology», «Permafrost Studies», «Ground Water Hydrology», «Geoengineering Hydrology», «Mineral Earth-oil and Oil-dissolved Gas Geology and Geochemistry», «Economic and Applied Geology», «Stratigraphic Geology».

 

Foreign citizens may be admitted on a paid basis. Educational process is provided only in Russian language.

 

For the consideration of the possibility of your education on the individual contract basis you should take an interview in oral form and provide the result of the Test of Russian as a foreign language (TORFL):

the 1st level (TORFL-I) for the bachelor degree educational programme,

the 2nd level (TORFL-II) for the master degree educational programme.

 

In addition you should provide the result of the exam (in written form): Russian language, Mathematics, Phisics/Geography.

The fee does not include accommodation fees, medical service fees, documents processing for the invitation fees, testing fees and other expenses related to residing in the RF.

Payments are provided in Russian rubles.
