Eating at home

Petersburg is famous for its cheap varied grocery stores located in every district of the city. Average amount of money which one person is spending for food in a shop each week is about 3000 rubles.

Activities

There are more than 200 museums in Saint Petersburg, from world-known Hermitage and Russian museum to Museum of dolls and Center of non-conformist art. Costs vary from 100 to 450 rubles, depending on the scale and popularity of the given collection. Over 100 Saint Petersburg theatres, among which are Mariinsky opera and Ballet theatre and Alexandrinsky Drama theatre, also demand different prices, from 500 to 4000 rubles. Night clubs are about 400-600 rubles for entrance. Average bill in a bar will be about 500 rubles.
