Study Russian? German students say "Da!"

More than 1000 students from Germany visited stand of Russian Language and Culture Institute at Expolingua Berlin exhibition (November 20-22, 2009).

The annual EXPOLINGUA Berlin is the only international fair for languages and cultures in Europe's German-speaking region providing the most comprehensive market overview.

For over two decades, the exhibition has been offering exhibitors an ideal platform to present a diverse spectrum of products and services related to language learning and teaching, as well as cultures from around the globe. Each year, approximately 200 exhibitors from over 30 countries and more than 15,000 visitors attend this multinational event.

Saint Petersburg State University has been represented by Russian Language and Culture Institute,.which provides introduction preparatory programmes to any of the 20 faculties of the University. Representatives of the institute discussed actual issues of teaching Russian as a foreign language at testing language competence at the round table talks within the fair framework.
